A couple from Leicester have started an online fundraising campaign to try to raise £5,000 to pay for fertility treatment.
The National Institute for Health & Care Excellence recommends that local NHS authorities offer at least three "rounds" of IVF treatment. However, pressure on budgets has led to many reducing this to just one, or in some cases even eliminating publicly-funded fertility treatment altogether. Campaigners have described this as "cruel and unethical".
