The government has confirmed another round of court closures as a cost-cutting measure. It includes a number of courts which deal with family cases. This will increase the time many people have to spend travelling to their nearest court. It will also inevitably put further pressure on other courts, which are already very overstretched.
This is yet another good reason to find a way to resolve disputes over finances and children without ending up in court, if at all possible.
